This blogosphere has been operational for six months and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. It’s been an awesome outlet to air a few of my opinions and post a few pics and for the most part the response has been great from you guys out there. I appreciate this and want to make sure that I continue to give you guys the awesome content I have been, however, the blog has recently reached a point where it needs to evolve into a new level of awesomeness.
I experienced something recently which really got my mind ticking. Whilst the incident is worthy of a post on its own – keep an eye out for it – I managed to find the positives out of what was a pretty negative situation and am therefore grateful for it. Whilst sitting under the stars, sipping on a whipskey and chain-smoking a pack of Camel’s, I found myself running over the events which had taken place a few hours earlier. I began to question myself and what I stood for. It was a deep few moments of introspection and through the warm whipskey haze, a voice awoke within which I realised needed an outlet.
I’m not going to delve too deeply into the origin of this voice or even from what perspective it airs its opinion but if you want to read between the lines let me simply say that for every voice/opinion/disposition aired there is its opposite. Whether its opposite is right or wrong is inconsequential in this case as it has as much right to be aired as the next. A little yin vs a little yang, I suppose.
Let me reassure you that I am not losing my mind, am sober at this point in time and am not getting all religious on you. In trying not to give too much away I would also like to leave a few bread crumbs to keep you interested in the subtle changes which will occur on this blog in the next few weeks. At this stage I need to do some behind-the-scenes work on The Noblest Rogue and so the frequency of my posts will diminish over the next few days. Bear with me.
Ultimately, The Noblest Rogue is a gentleman’s blog and no matter what ‘evolution’ or ‘change’ occurs, will always remain one. I hold true to my belief that chivalry is dying however is capable of resurrection and that through my blog you will become a better man.
You stay classy.
