SETH ROGAN AND JAMES FRANCO TRY TO ASSASSINATE KIM JONG-UN IN LATEST MOVIE

Seth Rogan and James Franco clearly enjoy making slapstick comedies together. I enjoyed their classic 2008 stoner movie ‘Pineapple Express’, as I’m sure you did. It contained enough humour for us to overlook Seth’s annoying laugh and Franco’s spaced-out acting. Then they did ‘This Is The End’ and the bubble burst. The apocalyptic comedy was a mixture of poor acting, bad comedy and many a what-the-fucks which left me grinding my teeth every time I heard Seth’s laugh and wondering when did Franco become such a weirdo? This latest offering could go either way, really. In ‘The Interview’ the pair play celebrity journalists, desperate to legitimize their careers, who land an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, which prompts the CIA to recruit the very unqualified pair as assassins. Like I said, this could go either way.

You stay classy,
