We can’t do it all ourselves in this world. As much as I like to think that I can, sometimes I need a little advice here and there. Advice on business, I turn to my old man. Advice on women, I turn to my mother. Advice on growing a beard, I turn to The Beard Baron. What initially started as a YouTube channel, The Beard Baron has evolved into a full-blown beard-ambassador institution and I love it. He offers tips on everything beard related. From discovering your beard shape to how to trim your beard to how to apply moustache wax, The Beard Baron is my go-to-guy with regards to all things beard.

John Diehl is The Beard Baron’s birth name. He’s an artist, designer, and beard ambassador who lives just outside of Boston in ‘Murica. John has been a beardsman for many years and recently developed his own products to support and keep his beard healthy and strong.  These handcrafted, premium products are available worldwide via his website.

John explains:

“What started as a YouTube channel has blossomed into something much greater.  I love connecting with people from all over the world who share a common bond, which is the beard.  While some see it as an accessory, it’s more of a lifestyle.  It’s a way of life that has transcended generations, societies, and entire civilizations since the dawn of man.  There are few other things in life that can live up to that heritage and I’m proud to be a part of it.

It’s my passion to encourage fellow beardsmen and those that are just starting their beard journey.  There’s something special about growing a beard, and I want to share my experience and knowledge with as many as possible.  Equally important is my passion for creating, designing, and manufacturing beard products that help men take their beards to the next level.”

Here’s a clip from him on how to add extra style points to your beard by fading your burns.
