The Noblest Rogue was recently invited to take part in the third leg of the #MissionSamsung Blogger Challenge which involves ten Lifestyle/Entertainment/Foodie bloggers making use of a provided Samsung device to complete a series of tasks. The idea is that the bloggers write about the experience they have with Samsung’s product whilst completing these tasks – and naturally punting the brand in the process – with the ‘winning’ blogger getting to keep the product at the end of the challenge. I am not sure what constitutes a ‘winning blog’ but am sure to educate myself on the finer details in the near future. The first leg of The #MissionSamsung Blogger Challenge featured the Samsung NX300 camera and the second a Samsung LED Smart TV, whilst the third – the one I am about to take part in – features the new Samsung Smart Microwave Oven.
The Samsung Smart Oven looks like a badass little device which I’m quite keen to get stuck into. Having somewhat of a formal food background, I enjoy cooking and baking on the odd occasion and this challenge is an excuse to indulge in some awesome chow. Not that one ever needs any form of excuse to indulge in great homemade food.
Whilst most microwave ovens – including this Samsung Smart Oven – come standard with various features including various cooking modes, cooking stage options, preheat options, weight/serving controls and grill heaters, the look and feel of the Samsung Smart Oven, in particular, is attractive. It has a stainless design from the body to the handle and display, is stylish and will integrate seamlessly into any kitchen decor. It features a door that opens down and closes up for loading convenience, whilst still providing the premium look and feel of a conventional oven. Everything you need in a 523 x 309 x 506mm box.
In terms of my competition, it seems like I have my work cut out for me as I am up against some pretty awesome foodies who know what they’re doing including Baked In The Cape, Lopville Living, Klets & Kook, Coffey and Cake and Lavender and Lime. The remaining participating bloggers may not be ‘foodie bloggers’, per say, but have certainly promised to offer stiff competition. I’m not too perturbed and relish challenges like these as they tend to bring out the best in me. At the end of the day, it’s all a bit of fun and a punt for Samsung, right? HashtagWinning
I’ll keep you posted with what’s what.
