If you’re not trying to become a better man each and every day, then I’m not sure what you’re doing at The Noblest Rogue. I am a big believer of constantly looking for personal improvement and growth and am always willing to pass on some advice to you, dear reader. It’s why I’m here. Why I’m doing this. The concept of a gentleman has been lost in recent times and I it distresses me that we have let it slip from our grasp. Chivalry is of the utmost importance to a man and has the ability to define who he is. If it holds this much importance, why then would we not be interested in it? Here are a list of rules which we can abide, which will see us begin the process of rejuvenating chivalry. Are you keen?

Not only was it Cary Grant’s sporty-yet-elegant style which gave him an edge over the other leading men of his day but it was his faultless attention to detail which gave him the edge. A classic Grant ensemble would include either a blue or grey double-breasted suit, a pocket square, a sober tie and a buttonhole and for it’s day this was considered to be ‘understated’. What’s interesting to note about Grant’s style is that it was so revered that one Richard Torregrossa compiled an entire book devoted to it. Incredible! Why wouldn’t you devote an entire book to a man who looked like he belonged in stylish clothes?

Well done everyone, we’ve almost made it through another winter and with the cold-season drawing to a close it’s time to start getting our act together on the clothing front for summer.
