It’s always cool to see how far our favourite actors have come. Or in some cases, fallen. Once upon a time your Bob De Niro’s, Tom Cruise’s and Natalie Portman’s had to read for parts and whilst none of the above ever have to again, there are those – the Lindsay Lohan’s, Matthew Fox’s, Lea Michele Relives’ and Megan Fox’s – who seem forever doomed to have to audition for parts due to their serious lack of acting talent. Either way here’s a compilation of some of Hollywood’s finest auditioning for the roles which put them on the map, so to speak. Watch out for Gerard Butler’s audition for ‘Dracula 2000’ at 2:36. How far has that man come?

‘THE JUDGE’ IS A GUARANTEED TEAR JERKER

Robert Downey Jr. nails every role he takes, no matter the material. From comedy to action to drama, Robbie DJ kills it. Think ‘Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang’, ‘Zodiac’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Tropic Thunder’ and ‘Sherlock Holmes’ for a second. Ya you know what I’m talking about. In ‘The Judge’ Robert Downey plays a big city lawyer who returns to his childhood home where his father, the town’s judge, is suspected of murder. He sets out to discover the truth and, along the way, reconnects with his estranged family. It also stars Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Billy Bob Thornton and Vincent D’Onofrio and looks like a goodie.
