I’m unsure why it is that the first time I hear of this movie is through 2oceansvibe? I’ve got nothing against Seth and his crew of minions, it’s simply that I pride myself on being in the know. Nevertheless, the creator of the Mad Max series has added a fourth film to the three previous cult offerings. Directed by said creator – George Miller – and shot in Namibia, this new addition to the franchise sees Tom Hardy portray the desert wanderer alongside a skin headed Charlize Theron and the beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. My only gripe is that we’re going to have to wait till May 2015 to see it. It will be worth the wait, I reckon.

Being a big fan of Tom Hardy and underworld-themed movies, ‘The Drop’ is right up my alley.  In this Michaël R. Roskam directed Crime Drama – also starring James Gandolfini and Noomi Rapace – Tom finds himself at the center of a robbery gone awry which entwines him in an investigation that digs deep into his neighborhood’s past where friends, families, and foes all work together to make a living – no matter the cost. It looks gripping and intense at best! Make a note of catching it on the big screen.
